While there are a variety of do-it-yourself products, methods and rental cleaners, you may find that hiring a professional is the fastest, safest and most convenient of the options.
When comparing carpet cleaning companies, please consider this. I am an owner/operator so I am able to keep my costs down. I also purchase my chemicals in bulk to take advantage of bulk pricing. Please be aware that the person who wants my business to succeed the most is me! Therefore, I am the one who needs the work to be the highest quality to earn customer satisfaction and return business.
Whoever you use, make sure that they operate a Truck Mounted System aka steam cleaning carpet cleaning system VS non-truck mounted system. Pricing is similar, and a truck mounted system will do a much better job at cleaning your carpets. Additionally, a very important point is that a truck mounted system will do a better job at extracting the water from your carpets allowing for cleaner, dryer carpets.
I use a truck mounted Hydramaster Boxxer 421 hot water extraction unit (aka steam cleaning truck mount system), one of the best on the market. I also use an Evolution wand for carpet cleaning and a Hydramaster DriMaster upholstery tool. What this should mean to you is that I invested in top-of-the-line equipment from my Chevrolet van, Boxxer 421 unit, pre-sprayer, wands and the chemicals that I use. Additionally, both of my wands are all brand new summer 2009 and my all new hoses replaced December 2011!
